Typhoidland has been selected at the overall winner for the 2021 BSHS Ayrton Prize for Digital Engagement.
The panel was highly impressed with this submission and was described as “uncommonly impressive” with “impressive production values” and the panel praised the “careful selection and tailoring of different presentation approaches for multiple audiences; the choice of topics to achieve both conceptual coherence and a wide breadth of subject coverage; the project’s international reach; and the evident attention to the challenges of developing online material to be sustainable for future use”.
