Carly Collier and Claas Kirchhelle, Fear & Fever: 14 days of typhoid in Edwardian Dublin (Dublin City Council, 2024).

The Typhoidland team are very proud to have donated €300 to Dublin Simon Community, who support individuals experiencing homelessness in Dublin and surrounding counties, thanks to the fantastic support of our graphic novel Fear & Fever: 14 days of typhoid in Edwardian Dublin by the brilliant Forbidden Planet Dublin and Dublin City Comics – and of course, most importantly, everyone who’s bought a copy so far!

We’re especially grateful to Dublin City Comics who very generously hosted us and the incredibly talented Clare Foley, who illustrated Fear & Fever, for a signing event earlier in the summer.

There are still copies available! In addition to Dublin City Comics and Forbidden Planet Dublin, you can also find Fear & Fever at The Campus Bookshop, UCD. The  proceeds of all future sales will also go to Dublin Simon Community.

A final thanks to our publishers and collaborators, Dublin City Council and Dublin City Library and Archive, and also to our friends at RCPI Heritage Centre for their support with distribution.

And don’t forget! Fear & Fever is available to borrow from all Dublin library branches for free, or you can read a digital copy on the Typhoidland website here.
