Alice in Typhoidland opened on the 20th January at two sites on Broad Street in Oxford: the Weston Library and History of Science Museum. The launch night began with talks by Prof Andrew Pollard (advisor to the exhibition) and the curators Dr Claas Kirchhelle and Dr Samantha Vanderslott, followed by tours of the exhibition and a drinks reception.
Alice in Typhoidland is running at the Weston Library and the History of Science Museum, and will open at the Museum of Oxford in Winter 2020. Visit www.typhoidland.org and follow Alice on Twitter at @typhoidland for more information and updates.
Following the conclusion of the exhibition in Oxford, it will travel to the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention David J. Sencer Museum in Atlanta, Georgia. A travelling exhibition will also visit Bangladesh, Nepal, and India.
