Since 2019, the Typhoidland team have worked with researchers, students, and medical practitioners in Bangladesh, India, and Nepal to develop educational material on typhoid control for local audiences. All of our educational resources are open access (CC-BY-NC) and available for non-commercial reuse.
Winning Entries from the 2022 Student Typhoid Engagement Competition
As part of our travelling exhibition in India, Nepal, and Bangladesh, we produced posters to be displayed in healthcare settings with partners in St John’s Research Institute, India, Patan Hospital, Nepal and the Child Health Research Foundation (CHRF), Bangladesh.
In addition, Oxford MSc students in International Health and Tropical Medicine have collaborated with Typhoidland and Bangladesh partners Platform and Shuhari Health on a ‘Typhoid Awareness Mixed Media Competition’.
We invited healthcare professionals and students to create a poster or a video for chance to win prizes. The MSc students also produced a Typhoid Quiz.
