Health For All official selection

Typhoidland has been selected for a final shortlist of 45 films as part of the ‘The Health for All Film Festival’ run by the World Health Organization (WHO). The festival is showcasing original short films on health and we are delighted ‘Alice’s Adventures in Typhoidland’ is included. As the WHO say: “Films are a powerful way to raise awareness, improve understanding and encourage action so that this festival aims to contribute to health promotion and education about health.”

They received nearly 1,200 entries from 110 countries for this second edition of the film festival. The festival jury includes a number of critically-acclaimed artists from the film and music industries, along with WHO senior experts, with WHO’s Director-General making the final decision.
